Day 1: Departure
We meet at Molopo Lodge
close to Askham and overnight at a Game Farm. Passengers can join from Cape Town

Day 2
We depart after breakfast
and drive along the ancient Molopo river bed to Kglagadi Transfrontier Park. Game watching while we drive to our Campsite. Brunch at a picnic site

Day 3
At leisure with game drives

Day 4
Kglagadi into Namibia to Hoachanas
Drive all along the dry Olifants River bed via Gochas to Stampriet. We visit Anib Kalahari Lodge for a drink in their Kalahari Bar, before we leave on back roads towards Hoachanas.

Day5
Via Kalkrand and Lepel to Spreetshoogte Pass.
The Pass connects the Namib Desert with the Khomas Highland and is the steepest pass in Namibia with spectacular views of the adjacent Namib Desert.
We meet Boesman on his farm near Solitair and experience the Namib Desert in a very unique way.

Day 6
Relaxing day
with an excursion with Boesman into his farm near Solitair

It is difficult to leave, and say goodbye to Boesman, and his insights of living in the desert.
We drive via Solitaire to Sossusvlei. Relaxing afternoon at Campsite overlooking the Namib Desert Scenery

Day 8
Today we have an early start to reach the red dunes before sunrise. Visit Sossus Vlei and Dead Vlei. The Red Dunes are an unbelievable sight during early mornings. Afterward we visit Sesriem Canyon in die Naukluft Park, and climb down the few steps into the Canyon.

Day 9
Drive along Naukluft Park and into Tiras Mountains to Koiimasis Ranch
The Tiras Mountains is magnificent with colors changing all the time. Look out for Rhino and Zebra’s. We stop for a picnic breakfast along the way under a huge Camel Thorn Tree. Along the most scenic road in Namibia D707 and into the Tiras Mountains.

Day 10
A relaxing day at Camp
and exploring the Tiras Mountains

Day 11
Luderitz and Kolmanskop Excursion
Landscapes of granite mountains, dry riverbeds and sweeping plains awaits us on our way to Aus, where the Wild Horses roam freely. We visit Kolmanskop, the Ghost Town and walk along the waterfront at Luderitz. Spend time at the lookout and waterhole experiencing the Wild Horses.

Day 12
Aus via Seeheim and Fish River Canyon to Norotshama River Resort
Leave early for breakfast at Alte Kalkoven (own account)and a visit to their Lithops Nursery Project.
Via Seeheim Hotel and Canyon Roadhouse, to Hobas and we visit several Lookout Points,
of The Fish River Canyon.
Accommodation: Lodge on the banks of the Orange River (B&B)
Dinner: Restaurant (own account)
Day 13
Terrace Bay to Swakopmund
We leave after an early breakfast via Noordoewer Border Post.
Back in South Africa and our drive home – arrive CPT Airport by 17:00

We provide camping gear: Dome tents 3m x3m x 1.82m high- go together with a light, a stretcher, mattress and bedside table.

MEALS – Our fully equipped BUSH kitchen (including crockery, cutlery and coffee mugs) will treat you with a hearty breakfast that varies from continental to bacon/boerewors and eggs.
Dinner is always around a camp fire – South African Braai/Potjie experiences and homecooked meals like bobotie. Always accompanied by fresh salad and vegetables.
COFFEE Station – tea and coffee are yours to enjoy in camp – with early morning homemade rusks
ICE Bucket is ready before Wine O’Clock for sundowners.
