After a day’s hike, you will be happy to arrive at one of the Eco-Friendly tented camps that blend into the surroundings, sleeping in a comfortable bed with hot showers and flushing toilets.
Each camp has its own theme and is equipped with a fireplace, braai facilities (BBQ) and a big kitchen.

Day 1: Departure
Traveling Day
Depart from Cape Town International Airport at 14:00, with a luxury Mercedes Sprinter, via the scenic coastal route and Simon’s Town to arrive at Smitswinkel Tented Camp by 16:00. Visit the statue of Just Nuisance with its interesting story of a dog that became a member of the SA Navy. Briefing before dinner.

Day 2
Walking day 1
(1 – 15 km and +/- 7 hours walk)
Transfer to the starting point of the hike at Cape Point, near the Light House. Explore the beauty of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. This narrow stretch of land, dotted with beautiful valleys, bays and beaches, contains a mix of extraordinarily diverse and unique fauna and flora.
Hike to Buffelsfontein Info Centre and lookout for Eland and other game species.
Transfer to Slangkop in Kommetjie and relax in style and comfort; enjoy a hot shower, the sound of waves and the lighthouse keeping watch over you.

Day 3
Walking day 2
(15.5 km (+/- 7 hours walk)
From Kommetjie walk along the isolated Noordhoek beach, passing the Kakapo shipwreck. To walk alone with horses training on the beach is an unbelievable memory and experience. Transfer via Chapmans Peak drive to starting point at ‘Small Chappies’ and head towards Silvermine Dam. A steep climb up small Chapman’s Peak with magnificent views across the Hout Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Picnic and swimming at Silvermine Dam.
Transfer back to Kommetjie.
Visit the Slangkop lighthouse and the little Village of Kommetjie

Day 4
Walking day 3
9 km (+/- 5 hours walk)
Transfer to Silvermine Dam, after breakfast. Start walking through abundant fauna and flora, that will sooth and charm your soul. Walk all along the contour path, high above Hout Bay, with views of the harbour and beach. We follow the gentle slope down, and walk across the beach for an early lunch at the yacht club (own account) Transfer to Orange Kloof, after lunch. Hike from Orangekloof via Disakloof, along the Woodhead dam to the Overseers Cottage.

Day5
Walking Day 4
14 km (+/- 8 hours walk)
Hike, after breakfast, from the Overseers Cottage, following the Smuts track above Kirstenbosch with beautiful views over False Bay and CPT Harbour to Maclears Beacon – the highest point on Table Mountain. From here we walk along the flat table to the Cable Car. We end at the Cable Way around 15:00. Transfer to Wash Houses

Day 6
Traveling day
Transfer to Kirstenbosch, with breakfast at the KirstenbosschTea Garden (own account). Walk with the local guide and experience the Canopy walk (Boomslang).
Depart for drop off at CPT International Airport by 13:00
