Pick up at Cape Town International airport at 14:00 via Somerset West and through Canola fields and Overberg scenery to overnight at Guest Farm Accommodation near Stanford.

Walk from Farm house along a jeep track and gravel roads through typical Overberg Scenery and Fynbos passing Oak Grove farm to Stanford. Klein Rivier Cheese tasting and Optional wine tasting at Birkenhead Brewery and Winery. Time to visit Stanford, a small riverside village. Transfer to Farm House.

Walk from Farm House, along a jeep track and gravel roads passing Goedvertrou and and Nooiensdraai. Along backroads passing Lomond winery for an optional wine tasting.
Short transfer to Franskraalstrand. Walk along the beautiful coastline to your accommodation. Visit the penguin sanctuary, where you will fall in love with one of these guys. Fish and Chips Dinner (or your own choice) in Kleinbaai at Great White House Restaurant with a life-size whale skeleton hanging from the roof (own account). 20km

‘Breakfast run’ along farm roads to Marietjies’ Pub in Baardskeerders Bos, for a unique breakfast experience. Transfer to the Tip of Africa. Visit the lighthouse, dating from 1848 and walk along board walks to the Southern Tip of Africa. We leave L’Agulhas and drive to Bredasdorp to visit the interesting shipwreck museum. Cake and coffee or a late lunch at Bredasdorp Square Restaurant (own account). 20km
Overnight & Dinner: Rots en See Beach House (DB&B)
Walk from Gansbaai harbour to De Kelders on a foot path. One of the most beautiful coast lines in the world. Excellent whale watching opportunities. You will find one of the most unique and best land-based whale watching spots in the world along these cliff paths. Another attraction is the mysterious and graceful Great White Sharks. Gansbaai is known as the Great White Shark capital of the world.
Transfer to Alpha Farm Road and walk along back roads and jeep tracks, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and a tapestry of canola and wheat fields in brilliant yellow and green. Transfer to Greyton. Time to explore the village of Greyton with shopping opportunities! Visit Genadendal and museum. Transfer via Hemel and Aarde Valley and optional wine tasting, to Hermanus and your accommodation. 15 - 20km

Transfer to Voëlklip, after breakfast, to walk along cliff paths all the way to the Old Harbour. Follow the cliff paths to the New Harbor. Transfer to the Lookout Point, high above Hermanus into the Hemel and Aarde Valley. Walk down the hill to have lunch (own account) at a restaurant near the old harbour. Hermanus, offers the best land-based whale watching in the world, and is yours to explore with free time and with shopping opportunities.
Wine and gin- tasting at the Wine Village, before a transfer to Guest House. 15 - 18km

How
The distance per day of 16 – 20km is walked in 6 - 7km stretches, with safari style rest breaks in the veldt, or an interesting cultural or historical stop along the way. You meet the locals, eat their food and learn about their history. Walking is done on gravel roads without a backpack – no hiking trails. Accommodation is mostly on guest farms and in chalets. A support vehicle and team are there to assist you throughout the day

Return transport by Mercedes Sprinter bus from Cape Town International Airport, Guest farm, Beach House and Guest House accommodation. Sharing – 2 people per room with a combination of en-suite bathrooms and shared bathrooms between 4- 5 people.
